Are you considering Edna Brewer for your child?
The Edna Brewer Middle School Tours and Outreach Committee welcomes all interested parents and guardians to come learn about our middle school. Read more about our school here.
Each year we host four Prospective Parent Tours and one Evening Informational.
The Prospective Parent Tours allow interested parents the opportunity to learn about our high performing Oakland public middle school. Tours are led by Brewer parent volunteers who will share their first hand knowledge about our school. After parents visit classrooms for all three grades, and tour our campus, they will meet the Principal and key staff. We will conclude our morning with a panel of 6th grade students and the opportunity for parents to ask any questions they may have.
Edna Brewer also hosts a yearly Evening Informational so that prospective parents or guardians and their students can learn about Edna Brewer. This event takes place in the evening to accommodate those who could not make a daytime tour, or who would like another opportunity to find out what makes our school a top choice for Oakland families. We will begin our evening with a series of short presentations from the Principal, key faculty, and our innovative program directors and staff. Prospective parents will have the opportunity to enjoy a short arrangement from our award winning musicians and meet a panel of 6th grade students. We will conclude the evening with a question and answer session.
