Students and teachers ask lots of questions and work like scientists. These are the kinds of skills needed for success in high school, college and the modern workplace.” [Read more…]

The School Performance Framework (SPF) is like a report card for your school. It is a comprehensive system to help schools focus on strengths and areas for targeted improvement. SPF measures how well each OUSD school is performing on a yearly basis. The www.OaklandSPF.org website contains simple Summary Reports, detailed Technical Reports, and information on how to understand and use the SPF. Click here to view a video that explains the SPF.
Remind your students to bring their PRIDE Tickets to school on PRIDE Store days so they can redeem their tickets for up to two prizes! The PRIDE Store will be open in the courtyard, during ALL grades’ lunch. The next PRIDE Store will be November 10th.
We want to thank Marianne Burg for taking charge of the PRIDE Store this year. If you would like to volunteer at the PRIDE Store, let her know by emailing email@example.com or by calling the main office to leave a message in the PTSA box.
