Only 12 more days until the Auction Fiesta!  Do you have your tickets? The groupo norteno is ready to play, Chef Marcus is firing up the taco grill, the limes are ready to be squeezed, and the many auction items are waiting for your bids. It is sure to be a wonderful night of fun and fundraising for the Brewer community.  Take a look at some of the great items on the table:

Raise Your Paddle: At the end of the silent auction we will be taking a moment to fundraise for performing arts at Edna Brewer.  This includes continued support for our amazing music program, as well as future projects in other areas such as dance and drama.
A catalog will be posted online prior to the auction and dates published for date specific events such as parent hosted parties.

Everyone has a favorite restaurant, store, or service they rely on and love.  This is the week to drop off a donation request letter and see if they would consider making a donation to our auction (overachievers can do more than one).  A donation request letter and form came home with your student.  If that one is crinkled/ torn/lost, you can print them directly from our auction website auction.ednabrewer.net.  or pick up a hard copy in the office.  Think about restaurants, gift stores, services (massage therapist, yoga/pilates instructor, car wash/oil change), your friend who has season tickets to a sporting event or theatre, or your child’s guitar/piano/karate instructor.   What are you going to put on the auction table?  

Thank you to the families who have “fed the kitty” and brought us closer to our Annual Panther Pride Donation Drive goal of $12,000!  The Panther is still hungry!  We need to raise $3000 more in order to fill the bowl.  Take advantage of easy online donations either one time or monthly recurring at www.ednabrewer.net.  Alternatively you can send a check to Edna Brewer PTSA, 3748 13th Ave. Oakland, 94610.  All donations are tax deductible. Don’t forget to see if your employer will provide a matching donation.  Many employers do.
