7th and 8th Grade Bands and Orchestra Concert
Come celebrate the musicians of our 7th and 8th grade bands and orchestra as they perform for the last time this school year! Call time for musicians is 6; show is at 6:30.
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon
The PTSA is hosting a Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon for Edna Brewer's amazing staff, teachers and administrative team. This is an opportunity to show our appreciation. We need volunteers for set-up and cleaning up, serving, and bringing food. Please bring your dish to the library on May 17. The buffet luncheon will served at 1:30pm for approx. 100 people in the library.

Edna Brewer and Roosevelt Middle School Jazz Showcase
Both Roosevelt and Edna Brewer Middle Schools have extraordinarily talented music students! If you love supporting young artists and want to hear some great live jazz, you won't want to miss this concert! Set in a jazz club that has a legacy of celebrating black culture in the heart of Oakland, Geoffrey's Inner Circle has a soul food dinner plus bar that will make the night even tastier!

FINAL Garden Cleanup/Donut Day of 2022-2023!
We need your green thumb this Sunday for the last garden day of the year. Eat some donuts, see the native plant garden that is a result of our hard-working volunteers, and do a little weeding and pruning. OUSD has about 7 gardeners for its 85 schools, so we need all Panthers to get a little dirty this Sunday!

Vintage Berkeley is a trio of locally-owned, Berkeley-based, community-driven wine shops.
We're eager to find new ways of connecting with our community. In this spirit, we’ve developed a fundraising program for the 2022-2023 school year -- both to connect us more directly with our neighbors, and to help support local schools like Edna Brewer.
For the period of Friday, March 17th through Friday, March 31st, Vintage Berkeley will donate 15% of all wine purchases made by the Edna Brewer community to the Edna Brewer Middle School PTSA. Parents, teachers, friends and family are all invited to participate, and all of their wine purchases will directly benefit the Edna Brewer PTSA.

OUSD Middle School Virtual Showcase
OUSD's Enrollment Office will be hosting virtual school showcases, where schools connect to community members on zoom, and share the most compelling aspects of the instructional program, support services, and student experience. Skyline Family Day
Interested in Skyline High School?
Come join the Skyline PTSA for our garden club family day. Our garden club will be there, but so will other parents, students and some staff. It’s a great way to see the campus, get a sense of our community and get your questions answered about our school. We’ll have hot cider and treats—and extra tools and gloves for those who want to get their hands dirty and help out. Not the gardening type? No worries, come early for some informal Q & A about our school.

Holiday Craft Fair
CALLING ALL ARTISTS, CRAFTERS, MAKERS, BAKERS, & MORE!
We are thrilled to be bringing the Edna Brewer Holiday Craft Fair back for 2022!! This can't-be-missed event will be held on December 10th from 11am-3pm at Edna Brewer Middle School.
The Edna Brewer Craft Fair brings together talented makers from across the Bay Area. We will create space for artisans to sell their beautiful products, for Edna Brewer students to provide entertainment, and for student groups to sell goodies & fundraise. We cannot wait to see some of our favorite creators again and look forward to meeting new ones. Details and sign-up information is below....

Gratitude Luncheon
The PTSA hosts an annual Gratitude Luncheon to show our appreciation for the awesome teachers, staff and admin team of Brewer. Teachers & Staff are invited to a festive feast and seated buffet lunch in the gym. Please sign up to bring a dish. We also need help with set-up & clean-up.
