After-School Digital Photography Class

Taught by Ms. Prinz
Every Wednesday from 2:00 – 4:00 PM

Using digital cameras and Adobe editing programs as the arts media, students practice the fundamentals of art, such as the elements of art and principles of design. They learn the technical aspects of shooting with a manual camera, such as balancing the light meter and choosing aperture settings to achieve specific visual effects. In the computer lab, students learn all the basics of editing photography, such as contrast, exposure, cropping, etc., as would have been done in a darkroom.
