About the Giving Campaign

Hello Brewer Family, Friends & Community Members,

The Giving Campaign is our largest fundraiser each school year. For the 2024-25 school year, our goal for the Giving Campaign is $80,000. While that is a big number, we do big things with those funds, supporting music, art, athletics, restorative justice, tutoring, field trips, and so much more.

In fact, the PTSA will spend about $500 per student this year.

Families are encouraged to donate whatever amount that is comfortable. All donations are appreciated! Typical donations range from $10 to $1,500 annually. Families can give as a one-time OR recurring monthly contribution.

We also encourage parents/guardians who work for companies that match donations made to non-profits to pursue those match dollars for Edna Brewer. Approximately 15% of our fundraising toward Giving Campaign come from match dollars from corporations.

WAYS TO GIVE:

  • Credit Card/PayPal: Make a one-time or monthly donation via PayPal or credit card. There is a new option to pay for the transaction fee or you can stretch your donation by using the PayPal Giving Fund to donate to the EBMS PTSA with no fees.

  • Venmo: Donate through Venmo.

  • Bank account/Zelle: We also accept Zelle through your bank; send to our email treasurer@ednabrewer.net.

  • Check/Cash: Check donations made payable to โ€œEdna Brewer PTSA.โ€ You can drop checks or cash in the white locked mailbox in the schoolโ€™s main office. Or mail checks to:
    Edna Brewer PTSA
    3748 13th Avenue
    Oakland, CA 94610

NOTES:

  • Our goal is to raise $160 per student for the Giving Campaign this year. If youโ€™re a family who can afford to give more to cover others who canโ€™t, you will be forever in our hearts.

  • The Edna Brewer PTSA is a 501(c)3 organization. The tax ID is 91-1931747.

THANK YOU to everyone who has donated to support our Teachers, Staff, Students and Community. Without your continued financial support, many of the activities, clubs, field trips, after school sports and art supplies wouldn't be possible. No dollar amount is too small or BIG, and it will all help continue to support our Panthers.
